Celebrating Progress

We love how our class is growing and improving at writing letters and numbers.  It's so fun to see students smile as we praise their hard work.  We are really proud of the progress the class is making, keep up the great work at home!

This morning we heard about how God created people in His image starting with Adam and Eve...and it was good!  We reviewed all of God's creation days and discussed how God knew each part was good.

In reading we tackled the letter Gg and everyone worked hard to practice both the writing sound.  Remember to practice every letter we work on at school at home!

We talked about careful counting strategies in math and practiced using counting marks counting groups of four and five things.

After P.E. we added photos to our first weather poster as we learned more about what weather is, what kinds of weather we see and how weather scientists gather information.

At story time we recalled the reactions of a main character in a funny, rhyming book about a frog.

It was library day and the class enjoyed picking out new books and hearing a story.  We also practiced reading games and caught up on homework.

It was great to see all the smiles today, we love your bright children!
