Volunteers

We encourage parents or Grandparents to volunteer in our classroom in the areas below.  Specific times and dates maybe TBA.  All volunteers who help directly with students will need to fill out a Volunteer Packet (request one and I'll send it home or stop by the school office for one) and pass a background check before they begin volunteering.  Volunteers will always need to check in at the school office and wear a volunteer tag before coming to the classroom.

All School Volunteers: Many parents from every grade are encouraged to volunteer to help with our big school events (Fall Fest, Indoor Olympics and S3). See the Special Events page for dates.

Kindergarten Volunteers: 

Library Helper : (Every Tuesday 2:00-2:45) Check out library books to students each week during our library period.  Severn 

Scholastic Book Orders:  Manage the Kindergarten Scholastic orders online from home.

Classroom Parties:  (Dates TBA) Plan and supervise a holiday party with help from other parents. (Four parents needed/party)
December:  Christmas Party...December 20 at 2:00-2:45, Cassie Jackson-snacks, Severn Barrett-craft, Julie Garberg-game
February:  Valentines Day Party...February 14; 10:30-11:00. Cassie Jackson-snacks, Jenna Templeton-game, Cindy Leyva-game, Julie Garberg
