Time to Celebrate and Say Good-Bye

This is our last little week of the school year. Our students are ready to go to first grade now. They are bright, confident and eager to keep learning. Each one has been a joy in their own unique way. We are so thankful for our time together.

On Monday, we'll attend our Awards Assembly in the morning and spend the rest of the day wrapping up the classroom, and playing games. In the evening, we hope to see our class at the 8th grade graduation at 6:00 in the gym.

Tuesday is Field Day. We'll be outside for the morning competing in fun games. Dress in Spirit Wear and be ready for a warm morning. Parents are welcome to stay and watch or pick up at 11:00.

Our last day is Wednesday where we'll attend Closing Chapel as a class and then enjoy a special slide show of the year. Parents are welcome to stay for chapel. Students will take home summer folders and their final report cards. We'll see our friends off into summer at 9:30 for our last morning of kindergarten.

As teachers this is a sweet time of year reflecting on all the growth our students have made. We are also ready and thankful to have a summer break. We hope you feel the same way. We will miss each student, and we'll look forward to seeing them at BLS again next school year as first graders.
