We released our ladybugs at Horse Heaven Park this afternoon. They crawled over our hands and flew off into the warm breeze. The class did a fine job of in depth learning as we moved through the unit. Today we had our last review and an oral quiz. At Bible time we began the story of Dorcus, it's a great opportunity to talk about helping those in need. At story time we discussed book genres. We started a new math chapter today; Measurements. We will be measuring many things this month. Let your child measure at home! This week in reading we will cover 's' blends in words.
I hope you get the chance to ask your child what they know about ladybugs; they are experts now!
