It will be a short and exciting week for our students. Graduation is a very special event and both the BLS 8th graders and kindergarten class will stand for recognition. These classes are the book ends of learning in our school and they have inspired each other throughout the year. We hope you'll be able to attend both graduation ceremonies and celebrate with us!
Tomorrow we'll wrap up a year of learning about the Lord with a special prayer of thanks at Bible time.
Students will write for the last time in their writing journals and have a teacher conference before taking their journals home to complete this summer.
We will clean out our desks and take home all our personal belongings. If we finish early, we'll have time to play at center activities.
Our last P.E. will be outside, then we'll come in for a cool down. Students will practice for our graduation on Wednesday in the gym.
Our story at story time highlights dialog and how it's fun to read with a friends.
I hope we get to end the day with a final Bear party, special snacks and cartoons.
Tuesday is Field Day. We'll meet all our students on the playground at 8:30. Families are welcome to come and watch for the morning. Early release at 11:15.
Wednesday, is our closing chapel service and kindergarten graduation. We hope you come to share the joy!
