We're Thankful for You

Miss Martin and I have been enjoying all our parent-teacher conferences.  Each one is a reminder of how thankful we are for each student, the progress they've make and for all our supportive parents.  We hope you, too have much to be thankful for and can spend your Thanksgiving giving glory to our God from whom all blessings flow.

It will be a short and sweet little week as we wrap up before the Thanksgiving break.

We will spend time reviewing phonics skills, identifying the beginning and ending sounds in a word.  Students will write about what makes them thankful.  At story time we'll be reviewing story details and learning more about the first Thanksgiving.

In math, we'll keep updating the calendar, but we'll wait to start a new module when we return from the break.

Students will have an extra music practice and Bible verse rehearsals to prepare for our Christmas program.  On Tuesday, the school will have an early chapel and focus on thanking God for his many blessings.

When we return on the 29th, it will be full steam ahead into the Christmas season.

Count your blessings everyday...just try,

Mrs.  Luoma
