You mean so much to us

Today we delighted in honoring our mother's with a special Kindergarten Mother's Day Tea.  It was a joy and a privilege to let our mom's know how much they mean to us.  We hope all our student continue to honor their moms this Sunday and they have the best day ever.
We began our day with a devotion about how our bodies are amazing creations.  It's a comfort to know God designed us and understands every part of us.
Our 8th grade friends came down to read with us this morning and class enjoyed reading books from our text set on plants.
We engineered super sentences using words with the 'sh' digraph in reading and took a sight word quiz.
The class participated in an experiment during math where we used measurement skills and science.  On Monday we will record our data.  We heard some great predictions about how temperature will affect evaporation.
After lunch we practiced our chapel play using our letters.  Next week we'll be practicing in the sanctuary and using real microphones!
At story time we heard a story about growing up and discussed how parents grow up with us.
We practiced the protocol for our Tea and packed up early.
In art we learned about monochromatic colors and drew pictures using only one color, but varied the shade.
The whole class ended the day on green or better with their behavior!! That means the whole class earned two bears; bear party coming soon!

Thank you Kindergarten and moms for a wonderful day!
