We learned about symmetry today and how it applies to so many things in our world. The class practiced drawing lines of symmetry and we made symmetrical dots on ladybug pictures.
This morning we learned more about the names of God from Pastor Andy in chapel. We focused on writing afterwards, writing about our Kindergarten year through the seasons.
In math we began learning about measurements: what we measure, why and how we measure. We practiced measuring length using a paperclips as a standard of measure.
In the afternoon we worked more on a writing project for our moms. As we go we're learning how to organize our materials in writing folder.
We built with shapes, molded clay forms, made symmetrical spots on ladybugs and began a special gift for our moms for Mother's Day.
It was a sunny day inside and out,
Mrs. Luoma
