The beginning of the end

This was the beginning of our last full week of school.  We are excited for summer and watching our students go on to first grade.  We are also sad to take down all their work and pack up the memories.
At Bible time we heard how the disciples reacted when they realized Peter was free from prison.  God really surprised them!
At story time we heard a story about a pigeon who wanted a puppy for a pet and then changed her mind.  We counted syllables in words from the text.
We are learning about money in math this week.  It's an interesting subject to discuss with Kindergarten kids!
After lunch we learned about contractions and identified them as we sorted words with different endings.
Our table points were counted up and blue table won the points for respect.  Winning tables will get their pick of a special friend to sit near for the last days of school.  It should make for an interesting mix this week!
At learning centers we worked on some graduations projects, built and had the penny store open for business.

School is almost out, but we continue to learn and grow!
