Finishing strong

We are working hard to finish strong in Kindergarten this week.  We get a little crazy at times, but we stop, slow down and start again the right way.
This morning we heard a great chapel message from Pastor Andy encouraging us to live like lights in a dark world.
We wrote about what it will be like in first grade and added it to our wall writings from the trimester.
Dimes were the money topic in math and counted mixed change.
After lunching with our Bethlehem Buddies we heard a story about why you shouldn't bring an elephant to school.  We identified what the main topic was and minor details.
We heard a story about community and answered comprehension questions in reading.
The class enjoyed an extended Lego building time with the challenge of creating a strange insect.
In learning centers we identified vowel sounds, drew, played with play doh, worked on iPads and bought items at the penny-nickel-dime store.

This is the way to finish strong!
