Analyzing data

We took a good look at the temperature data from our play ground experiment this past month.  The students were able to use the data to come to several interesting conclusions about the weather, the sun and the seasons.  It's great to see how well the class can predict and reason.
This morning we began our day in prayer and had a great discussion about being a light to the world.
At story time we counted syllables in words from a text about an Owl who found a mouse under his bed.
Mr. Haynes continued to teach how to do picnic games in P.E.
We graphed data in math, the class is becoming comfortable with graphing of all kinds.
In reading we introduced a new reader and answered comprehensions about our anchor text.
It was our last time in the library for this year, so enjoy that final book and start visiting the public library soon!  In technology lab we worked with partners on reading skills.

It was a full day, full of learning and smiles,

Mrs. Luoma
