As we learn more about geometric shapes, we are using words to define shapes and including information about sides and corners. Help your child describe shapes in terms of number of sides and corners at home.
At chapel this morning we heard from Pastor Andy and learned more about the beatitudes. Then we spent time working on a special Mother's Day writing project.
In reading we took a performance base assessment and the class did a wonderful job writing with focus and purpose. We were so proud of their hard work.
Our story today was about fish daddies who take care of babies. We had a good discussion sharing opinions afterwards.
Several students shared their writing in front of the class and then we ended the day in learning centers where we practiced shapes, played sight word bingo, drew dandelions and made more secret Mother's Day projects.
