Wow...this is a hard digraph, the difference between the 'w' and 'wh' is very slight. Help your child practice careful listening at home to distinguish these challenging sounds.
At Bible time we began learning about the story of Pentecost and the coming of the Holy Spirit. Our class is learning Jesus gave the gift of the Holy Spirit to all believers so we would never be alone.
At story time we heard a great expository story about a penguin who needed help to swim.
We subtracted like pros in math and are all practiced up for the test tomorrow.

At learning centers we practiced rapid addition and subtraction, had a digraph toss, played a sight word game and made pictures out of squares.
