Be sure and do your homework!

The homework for this weekend is to play in the snow!  Save the indoor activities for another day and enjoy the snow while it's here.
We had a funny kind of day with the late start, but it was a good day of work.
At Bible time we finished the story of John's parents, Zachariah and Elizabeth.  Next week we meet Jesus' family and light another advent candle.
We updated our calendar, but saved our math lesson for Monday.  Moving on to reading...we took our sight word quiz and then investigated words in our anchor text and wrote an answer to a question.  The class practiced reading 'Sid in the Bin', have them read to you at home!
For art we made reflection prints of Christmas trees using oil pastels.
After recess the class heard a fun story about what snowmen do when we're asleep...makes you wonder?
We packed up early and then had our Fall Fest ice cream party.  The class enjoyed the sweets, Christmas music and even the brain freeze.

Here's wishing you a nice weekend; I hope you get to build a snowman with your kids!
