Baby, it's cold out there!

Woo doggie, it is chilly outside at recess!  Make sure your child is coming with warm clothes, hats and mittens or gloves.  It's a great time to wear warm boots, too.
This morning we heard a comforting message from Pastor Andy in chapel about what it means to hunger and thirst for righteousness.  We practiced our Christmas songs for the program; it's sounding like angels singing!
Back in class we wrote about angels, showing great sentence structure and handwriting.
In math we had fun finding the missing numbers covered in a number line.
We heard a great story from the perspective of a camel who visits the baby Jesus.
We answered questions from our anchor text, comparing old and new inventions in reading.  Then we identified sight words and practiced reading.
The class is enjoying learning more about severe weather conditions in science.  We are daily recording temperature data from the playground.
In learning centers we finished a Christmas project, invented words, counted and made cards for Meals on Wheels.
We were as busy as elves!

Blessings,

Mrs. Luoma
