We are practicing hard for the up and coming Christmas program. The class understands that their songs will be a gift to those who come to watch. We hope you and your extended families will be there to hear this sweet message. It's a great time to invite a new friend or neighbor to hear the Christmas story.
In chapel this morning Pastor Mark explained what being meek means in the Bible: controlled strength. It shed a whole new light on that word.
Our class studied good sentence structure today and practiced writing and correcting sentences.
In math we counted and wrote numbers 16 and 17.
We have moved into our readers and writers journals in reading, so if you don't see papers coming home daily it's because we're doing much of our work in the journals in class. Today the class compared how cows are milked in the past and present.
We got to do our weekly art project early this week and made aerial views of snowmen...they are beautiful. Check out the gallery in the hallway!
In learning centers we played number, letter and sight word games and finished gingerbread people.
Well done, Kindergarten!
