In science we are moving into learning about magnetism. Today we began testing materials to find out what kind of things have magnetic qualities. Students will then use their knowledge to separate materials later on in the unit.
At Bible time we heard how Joseph rose in power and wealth in Egypt.
The class asked good questions as I read them a book about a great pumpkin. In math we solved movement patterns. After lunch we practiced sight words and wrote them carefully. Students read with Mrs. DeGraaf and practiced finding sight words in sentences. In learning centers we played letter games, counted and built, and made intricate patterns.
