It was a very exciting day in Kindergarten...our animals ran away during recess! We searched the whole school for them and found them hanging out with our 8th grade friends. It was great fun to share the story with our friends and then have an indoor picnic with them. We worked on remembering the sequence of events that just happened as our 8th grade friends recorded our stories.
At Bible time we caught up on prayer requests and answers from God and practiced our verse.
The class worked hard on their letter review and the phonics quiz. We added labels to the mural we made yesterday on life in a pond.
After lunch we caught up in math and created a cool sound pattern with the class. We did a beautiful art project based on Kandinsky's concentric circles.
At the end of the day we colored and listened to student's Bible verses. Mrs. Thornton was here today to help teach the class about being a good friend. We left with a smile and a birthday cookie from Jocelyn!
We hope to see you at Fall Fest tomorrow!
Mrs. Luoma
