Learning the God Comforts Us

This morning in chapel, Pastor Andy taught us how God wants to comfort us as we mourn.  The Bible gives assurance that God knows how we feel and desires to wipe away our sadness when we sin.
Our class is beginning to understand finger spacing better in sentence structure.  It's so exciting to see their progress and watch how proud they are of their learning.  In math today we practiced patterns and how they apply to many, many subjects.  We read a funny poem and compared the pond in the poem to the pond in the last book we studied.  Our class wrote and identified the letter Ll and then practiced letter games with friends.  We continued to test our 'boats' to see if they could support and float a couple of sinkers.  The class is learning that part of design is to test and then redesign with new knowledge.  I hope your child wants to keep working on a better design as an extra challenge at home.  In learning centers we counted, played with play doh, practiced letter sounds and sorted.
It was a good day of learning in Kindergarten!
