Our class welcomed Rowan today to blue table! Many of our students already knew him from pre-K here last year and so he came in to many smiles and friends.
We learned how God created plants at Bible time and later on some students got to draw pictures about it on the iPads and publish to SeeSaw!
In reading we compared a poem to our anchor text from unit one and practiced rhyming words. The class found details that helped them to define new vocabulary words. Then we worked in small groups to practice writing, match letters, look at books and work on comprehension.
For math today we review chapter one and practiced careful counting and sorting.
We worked hard at learning centers at the end of our day by sorting, playing a letter game, our name game and learning how to use our classroom iPads.
It was a great start to our week, I can't wait till tomorrow!
