In Kindergarten we encourage everyone to become thinkers and doers. It is a skill to stop and think before doing something. We are learning to think before we speak and read and write.
Today we finished up the first trimester in style with several assessments in phonics, writing, math and science.
It was fun to see the class having fun as they applies their knowledge of materials to separate different things based on specific attributes. We sorted through our 'garbage dumps in a cup' separating metals, wax, salt and sand.
I'm excited to move into our second trimester and watch all the learning happen!
