At Bible time we heard more about the Bible story where Jesus stayed in the temple and his family had to run back to find him.
We worked on reading words with a short and long 'a' vowel sound in reading. Next week, we'll tackle short and long 'e'.
In math we reviewed for the test tomorrow on numbers 20-30 and we practiced writing numbers well.
We are practicing the team events for Indoor Olympics in P.E.
After lunch the class heard a funny story about a pirate who was looking for a pet and recalled story events.
At learning centers students played long 'a' word bingo, built with Legos, played with Play Doh and made creations from the art center.
Recess was pretty wet, but still lots of fun. Remember to help your child dress according to the weather!
