Our stuffed animals were missing!!

Oh, my...what a fun day!  We enjoyed taking care of our stuffed animals during the day and showing them the routines and rules of our class.  Everyone was surprised when we returned from third recess and our animals were no where to be found!  Our room was a mess and there was a note on the board saying we should try and find them.  So off we went and followed animal footprints throughout the school as we asked teachers and staff if they had seen our animals.  After quite a search, we found them and our 8th grade friends in the west wing.  Each child told their 8th grade friend the sequence of our adventure and the 8th grader wrote the story down.  It was a very entertaining way to practice story sequence using our own life experiences.  By the end of the day we thought it best to send the stuffed animals home for their mischief.  Some questions remain.  Did the animals really run around the school?  Did someone hide them from us?  Your child has their own theory.  Who's to say who's right...only the animals really know.

Keeping it real and fun and learning in Kindergarten,

Mrs. Luoma
