In chapel this morning we heard all about Camp Lutherhaven. It looks like SO much fun. If you're looking for a short camp experience for your child this summer, check out Lutherhaven. They will make friends, learn new skills and learn about Jesus while they camp in a beautiful setting.
After chapel we wrote about where Jesus was on Easter day and drew beautiful pictures.
In math we handled subtraction word problems like pros and used a check list to remind us of what our answers should include.
After lunch we heard a good expository story about ducks. We will continue to discuss the differences between narrative and expository books for the remainder of the year. Ask that question at home when you read books.
In reading we reviewed a part of our story (The Tiny Seed) and answered comprehension questions.
The class was thrilled to learn from a visiting teacher from Water on Wheels. Ms. Tara taught us all about animal habitats.
At the end of the day we had learning centers on sight words, symmetry, number recognition and quick addition and subtraction.
It's great to see all the learning going on in Kindergarten!
