We worked hard today at reading and finding words that have the long 'a' sound. Many students need to finish at home, please help them look for double vowels or a silent 'e' as they search for words.
In chapel this morning we heard from the third grade class about how God is our 'rock'.
We worked on writing for our wall, I hope you come to Open House tomorrow night and see what great writers we have in our class.
In math we separated into groups and one group worked on place value and the other had some extra practice in comparing numbers.
The class had fun watching us test the last weather stations. We can't wait for you to watch the videos during your Open House visit.
The story today had many lessons, we learned to communicate clearly if we want our message to be understood and we should always be thankful for people who help us.
At the end of the day we had the exciting experience of practicing with our Indoor Olympic teams. Everyone is looking forward to Friday and the fun competition.
