It's been a funny week with snow days and delays. It's teaching us to be flexible with changes in a schedule and that's good for us. We're thankful for the beautiful snow, the extra time at home and for time at school.
Today we learned more about the Christmas story at Bible time and then did a quick phonic quiz. Lunchtime was full of Christmas cheer, because many of our Bethlehem Buddies braved the roads and came to our Christmas lunch!
After lunch we heard a Christmas story about a Christmas tree and practiced giving our opinions on if we would like to stay a tree in the forest or be used as a family Christmas tree. We are learning we need to have a reason to back up our opinions.
We updated the calendar and had some Christmas themed Show and Tells. The class had time to start a drawing of the nativity scene in Art.
We began having all school Christmas program rehearsals in the gym today. The excitement is building for our performances next Tuesday!
Our class was dismissed from practice a little early and we relaxed till the end of the day be watching a Disney Christmas movie.
Have a good weekend and stay warm!
Mrs. Luoma
