The class enjoyed making paintings using the technique of pointillism. We looked a several classics by Seurat before attempting our own master pieces. At Bible time this morning we took prayer requests and practiced our verse. The class is learning a song about the Creation story. Today in reading we reviewed letters and worked on writing and phonics. It was fun to read with our 8th grade friends and then do some fun dancing as a class. In math we compared and counted groups. At story time we recalled story elements from a story about a cat who didn't know a mouse from a monster. At the end of the day we had fun in learning centers playing with play doh, building with blocks, reading through books and counting with little monsters.
It's great fun to watch these kids light up as they learn,
