Where's the snow?

Well, we moved onto some rain and said goodbye to the snow...sadly.  I hope you got to build your snowman yesterday!
It was great to have a full day of school again and get back to getting a lot accomplished.  We heard the end of the story of Zechariah and Elizabeth with the birth of John.  Now the stage is set for Jesus to be born.
In reading we had a sight word quiz and went on to the letter Zz.  We identified and drew shapes in math.  Our story was about snowmen, which set the stage for a great snowman art project, now hanging in the hallway.  We finished up a illustrating a recipe we wrote and practiced correcting sentences.  At the end of the day we had an all school music practice to run through all the Christmas program songs.  Wow, you're in for a real treat when you come to the program!
