We had a cozy, dry day inside due to the weather. Our class learned what inside recess was like. We're hoping to get outside more tomorrow; being inside all day makes us a little crazy!
We lit our second advent candle today; the candle of peace and began the story of Jesus' birth. At story time we heard a funny book and identified the characters and setting. We are working on identifying basic shapes in Math and then making larger shapes from smaller ones. We finished the letter Zz today...only four more letters to go! In science we studied and built traps for our gingerbread cookies...who knows maybe tomorrow some cookies will get caught? We ended the day in learning centers where we made volunteer gifts, decorated cookies, built and sorted. Christmas is coming and we all feel it!
