Welcome New Kindergarten Families!

We hope you are enjoying a wonderful summer!  It's a time to be thankful for family, friends, fun and extra rest.  We love this time of year, but also quickly look forward to beginning a new school year.

If you are thinking ahead to the start of your child's Kindergarten year, you've come to the right place to find information!  You can get a jump start to the year by reading the Parent Information page, updating your calendar with school events and purchasing your school supplies (2 boxes of tissues, 1 large canister of anti-bacterial wipes, velcro gym shoes, a standard sized backpack and lunch box).
Are you thinking about how to prepare your child for Kindergarten?  Work on good bathroom skills and independence with managing clothing and shoes (no tie shoes unless they know how to tie them already).  Academically, have your child practice writing their first name and letter/sound recognition.

Plan on attending Kindergarten 101 on August 14th!  This is where parents learn the best ways to communicate with us and how to prepare for a successful start in Kindergarten.

We are anticipating a wonderful year and want to team with each of you to give your child an amazing year of learning and fun.

Blessings on your summer and school preparations!

Mrs. Luoma and Mrs. DeGraaf
