Day Three

We had a busy third day of school!  In the morning we had a devotion about knowing God is with us even if we can't see Him.  In our reading block we practiced tracing and then writing our names.  We made a poster to remind ourselves about how to have a super star line in Kindergarten and now we are earning stars when we do a good job.  That line practice came in handy when we practiced what a fire drill looks like in the afternoon. We are learning to compare and sort in math.  From our story today, we also practiced comparisons.  It's great when vocabulary word apply to many subjects and the class can make connections.  In the afternoon we deciding on our class rules and touring the school so everyone knows where the different rooms are located.  We played and worked on new friendships for the last hour of the day.
We love this class and we're happy with the progress they're making every day!
