Looking for the lost sheep

Second grade gave a great teaching in chapel this morning about how Jesus is always watching over us and if we stray, He comes looking.  It's a comforting thought, as we all choose the wrong path sometimes.  We came back to class and worked hard on a writing for Mother's Day.  In math we made larger geometric shapes from small ones.  After lunch we listened to an expository story about butterflies and then we filled out a venn diagram comparing ladybugs and butterflies.  For reading we highlighted, wrote and read words with the digraph 'ch'.  Our day ended at learning centers where we painted, drew, threw and build with shapes.  We worked hard and saw lots of smiles throughout the day.

  1. You will never be happy if you continue to search for what happiness consists of. You will never live if you are looking for the meaning of life. See the link below for more info.
